Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of cashier experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic math proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle escalated customer issues
- Experience in supervising or coaching staff is preferred
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe customer service at checkout
- Process checkout and return transactions efficiently
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- Position cashiers effectively and support them by expediting price checks
- Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns across various service points
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervising, coaching, and training other Front End Associates
- Participate in the onboarding and development of new cashiers
- Utilize available tools and methodologies to coach and develop cashier team members
