Job Duties
- Complete all training requirements including Zaxby’s University, hands-on stations training, and any additional training required by Zax Nevada
- Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests including promptly greeting guests as they enter and thanking them as they leave, maintaining awareness of current promotions, explaining menu items, answering questions, and suggesting additional items
- Accurately complete orders and guest transactions by entering guest orders into point of sale systems, accepting payments, operating cash registers, and expediting digital orders
- Handle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriately
- Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment by cleaning guest areas including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and building exterior, maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and keeping work areas clean and organized
- Prepare menu items according to company standards including beverages, sauces, produce, ensuring food safety and sanitation, packaging and presenting guest orders, and assisting with kitchen tasks
- Complete all tasks with a sense of urgency, work safely following all safety guidelines, and perform other duties as assigned
