- knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
- ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment

- experience with POS systems preferred
- prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk is a plus
Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- demonstrate company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
- process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at checkout
- handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- adhere to company policies on cash handling and restricted sales
- report pricing discrepancies and maintain accurate checkout procedures
- stay current with pricing, promotions, and food safety regulations
- identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment needs
- provide assistance and answer customer questions regarding products
- manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
- support special needs customers and comply with all legal and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
