Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 30 lbs
strong customer service orientation
basic math skills
ability to follow company policies and procedures
willingness to learn and grow professionally

Job Duties

Provide excellent customer service
handle cash transactions accurately
enforce company standards for quality, cleanliness, customer service, and safety
meet goals related to Bottom of the Basket promotions
participate in cashier training and follow policies including WIC, checks, liquor and tobacco sales
follow procedures for voids, refunds, and transaction cancellations
maintain personal cashier productivity
ensure WIC compliance
maintain front end presentation, cleaning, and organization
adhere to uniform and personal appearance standards
perform other store duties as needed
engage with customers consistently
improve speed and efficiency of service
