- Ability to operate POS systems
- Understanding of company policies and procedures
- Ability to manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service experience preferred
- Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred
Job Duties
- Actively greet, engage and assist customers
- Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently through the check lane
- Handle cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers according to company policy
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales and pricing discrepancies
- Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
- Stay current with seasonal and special ads
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment needing repair
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions and creating a welcoming environment
- Follow local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs and older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
