Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, self-checkout, returns, pro desk, special services, and tool rental
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates
- participate in training new cashiers and use available tools to coach and develop cashiers
