Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one or more years of relevant cashier experience
  • basic math and computer skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • strong attention to detail
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe service
  • process checkout and/or return transactions
  • monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • seek product/project knowledge to provide information and identify selling opportunities
  • follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions
  • provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • assist in supervision, coaching and training of front end associates and new cashiers
