- prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk preferred

Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted sales, and pricing discrepancies
- follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- maintain awareness of current and seasonal promotional ads
- comply with all food safety regulations and guidelines
- report unsafe conditions and support safety programs
- perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management
- create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
- adhere to all local, state, federal laws and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- manage conflict in a non-confrontational manner
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- follow directions and seek assistance as needed
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
