Job Requirements

- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction

Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively and courteously
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policies
- Adhere to guidelines on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and company safety programs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products and services
