  • Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred

Job Duties

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return
  • Demonstrate core company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
  • Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items and control loss effectively
  • Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions or accidents
  • Provide product information and answer customer questions
  • Follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • Practice preventive maintenance and notify management of equipment issues
  • Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
  • Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Adhere to all local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
