Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one year experience operating cash register in food service or equivalent
- valid Food Handlers Permit from accredited issuer
- ability to safely perform job duties
- proficiency in English language
- effective communication skills
- basic math competency
- team cooperation skills
- knowledge to comply with food ordinances
Job Qualifications

- valid Food Handlers Permit approved by TXDSHS or ANSI
- proficient in English speaking, reading and writing
- ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family and coworkers
- basic math skills

- knowledge of local food ordinances
Job Duties
- handle cash, credit and other payment transactions in retail food areas
- provide receipts and make correct change
- prepare cashier's report and deposit revenues following cash handling procedures
- assist in food service areas and dining room
- operate food service equipment as needed
- support food and nutrition service areas
- maintain cleanliness and organization of service and equipment areas
