Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- process customer transactions quickly and accurately
- manage various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons
- adhere to company policies on cash handling and restricted item sales
- report pricing discrepancies
- follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- maintain food safety compliance
- identify and report unsafe conditions
- perform preventive maintenance checks
- create a welcoming and appreciative environment for all customers
- comply with local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- manage conflict in a reasonable and nonconfrontational manner
- handle customer and business information with honesty and integrity
- seek assistance when needed to resolve issues
