Job Duties
- Be visible and actively greet, engage and assist customers
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently through the check lane
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system handling cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on restricted sale items, cash shortages and overages
- Report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator
- Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Adhere to food safety regulations and store safety procedures
