Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and visibly
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to company's cash shortage and overage limits and work honestly to control loss
- Follow guidelines on restricted sales items such as alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Comply with safety procedures and notify management of any unsafe conditions
