Job Duties

  • Greet customers actively and assist them professionally
  • process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
  • adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales, and loss prevention
  • report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • stay updated with current and seasonal promotions
  • comply with all food safety regulations
  • identify and report unsafe conditions or needed repairs
  • create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions
  • work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
  • manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
  • act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • adhere to all local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
  • perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
