Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively
- process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
- handle various tender types and follow company POS procedures
- control cash shortages and overages to prevent loss
- adhere to guidelines for restricted sales such as alcohol, tobacco and DVDs
- report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator
- follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
