- prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk preferred
- ability to work cooperatively in high-paced environments

Job Duties
- greet customers actively and provide exceptional customer service
- process customer transactions through the check lane quickly and accurately
- handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for gift cards, postage stamps, and coupons
- stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and ads
- comply with all food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs by identifying and reporting unsafe conditions
- inspect equipment regularly and notify management of maintenance needs
- create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing assistance
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
