- Proven prior successful customer service experience
- Oregon Food Handlers Card
Job Qualifications
- Work experience or training including exchange of money for purchases and making change
- Proven prior successful customer service experience
- Oregon Food Handlers Card
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Two years cashiering experience preferred
- ServSafe Certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Obtain previously counted cash from a central cashier supply and count and verify beginning amount
- Receive monies or process credit card purchases for goods and services in dining area, bookstore, retail store, parking lot or ticket booth
- Total purchases and collect correct amounts and make accurate change
- Perform routine food service duties such as cutting cakes and pies, serving prepared foods, filling condiment and napkin dispensers
- Maintain customer service standards and provide general information and directions
- Assist with customers' needs and requests, stock shelves with books and store and food service items
- Record sanitation and temperature logs and perform routine cleaning tasks
