Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15lbs for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs throughout the shift
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination
- Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
- Pushing and pulling
- Lifting overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in cash handling or cashier role is an asset
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Balance the register at the end of each shift
- Provide excellent customer service and guide guests through menu selections
- Enter customer orders correctly into the POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Work collaboratively with team members to exceed guest expectations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
