Job Requirements
- Customer service experience
- effective communication skills
- knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
- prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred
- ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment

Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
- process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale system
- handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- adhere to store policies regarding cash handling and loss prevention
- ensure compliance with age-restricted sales regulations
- report pricing discrepancies promptly
- follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupon processing
- stay updated on current and seasonal promotions and ads
- maintain food safety standards and guidelines
- identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment needing repair
- create a welcoming environment for customers by answering product-related questions
- comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflict professionally
- protect customer and business information with honesty and integrity
- seek assistance when resolving customer issues
- support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults with care
- perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
