Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of cashier experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of cashier experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle customer escalation
  • Proficient in Point of Sale systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train and coach others
  • Knowledge of store policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to customers
  • Process checkout and return transactions efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
  • Seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
  • Follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • Position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
  • Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for various departments
  • Provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • Assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates
  • Participate in training new cashiers and use tools to develop cashier skills
