Job Duties

  • Greet and engage customers actively at the point of sale
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS system
  • Handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons following company guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling, restricted items sales, and pricing discrepancies
  • Maintain awareness of current promotional materials and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment needing maintenance
  • Foster a welcoming environment that addresses customer inquiries and needs across the store
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company safety procedures
  • Manage conflict calmly and cooperatively, acting with honesty and integrity
  • Provide assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as necessary
  • Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues promptly
