Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently through the POS system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policies
- Adhere to guidelines on restricted sales such as alcohol, tobacco, and age-restricted items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for gift cards, postage stamps, and coupons
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe environment
- Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting any repair needs
