- Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred but not required
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to company limits on cash shortages and overages to control loss
- Understand and enforce guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Comply with safety procedures and notify management of unsafe conditions
- Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting needed repairs
- Foster a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products
- Abide by all local, state, federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in high paced and stressful environments
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and nonconfrontational manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
- Provide support through interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
