Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
- Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons and loyalty offers according to company policy
- Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Follow established policies and procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Comply with food safety regulations and support store safety programs
- Maintain equipment by reporting items in need of repair
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions and creating a welcoming environment
- Adhere to local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Manage conflict reasonably and professionally
- Act with honesty and integrity
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
