Job Duties

  • Greet, engage and assist customers actively
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons and loyalty offers according to company policy
  • Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages and restricted sale items
  • Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
  • Follow established policies and procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • Comply with food safety regulations and support store safety programs
  • Maintain equipment by reporting items in need of repair
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions and creating a welcoming environment
  • Adhere to local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Manage conflict reasonably and professionally
  • Act with honesty and integrity
  • Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
  • Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
