Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted items, and coupon processing
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and ads
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment needs
- Create a welcoming environment and answer product-related questions
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Manage conflicts in a calm and cooperative manner
- Provide support to individuals with special needs
- Perform essential job functions with honesty and integrity
- Collaborate effectively in a high-paced environment
