Job Duties

  • Greet and assist customers actively and courteously
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted items, and coupon processing
  • Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions and ads
  • Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment needs
  • Create a welcoming environment and answer product-related questions
  • Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Manage conflicts in a calm and cooperative manner
  • Provide support to individuals with special needs
  • Perform essential job functions with honesty and integrity
  • Collaborate effectively in a high-paced environment
