- Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred

Job Duties
- Be visible and actively greet, engage and assist customers
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently through the check lane
- Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to company limits on cash shortages and overages and work to control loss
- Follow guidelines on restricted sale items and report pricing discrepancies
- Maintain knowledge of current and upcoming promotions, ads, and store policies
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
- Conduct preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting repair needs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering questions regarding products
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
- Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
