Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively and courteously at the point of sale
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers according to company policy
- Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages, restricted sale items, and loss prevention
- Report pricing discrepancies and ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and store policies
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following safety programs and reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
