Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple payment methods
- Ability to maintain honesty and integrity

Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales
- Report pricing discrepancies to appropriate personnel
- Follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain knowledge of current, seasonal, and special ads
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or accidents
- Perform equipment inspections and notify management of repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflicts calmly and professionally
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding business information
- Seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Adhere to all local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
