Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum 1 year cashier experience
ability to stand for long periods
basic math skills
strong communication skills
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

At least 1 year of cashier experience
strong customer service skills
ability to handle cash and operate Point of Sale systems
good communication and interpersonal skills
leadership ability for Head Cashier role
basic arithmetic skills
ability to work as part of a team
willingness to learn and train others

Job Duties

Process checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently
monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
provide customers with fast, friendly, and safe service
seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
follow all company policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage
position Cashiers on registers and support them by expediting price checks
approve Point of Sale transactions including markdowns and returns
provide first-level escalation for customer issues
assist in supervising, coaching, and training Front End Associates
participate in training new Cashiers
use available tools to coach and develop other Cashiers
