Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Less than 2 years of related experience
  • Ability to work AM and PM shifts
  • Availability for rotating weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to assist in multiple areas of the food service department
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Basic computer skills to handle transaction systems

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in cash handling or customer service preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Performs customer sales transactions by maintaining accuracy, timeliness and following department cash-handling policies and procedures
  • Maintains accurate and secure cash drawer
  • Assists with resolution of customer service problems and customer requests
  • Assists with re-stocking food areas and complying with sanitation guidelines
  • Helps maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafeteria area
  • Supports team members in various food service tasks as needed
  • Follows health and safety standards at all times
