Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Demonstrate company core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
- Actively greet, engage, and assist customers
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items and control loss honestly
- Report pricing discrepancies
- Follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with promotions and ads
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
- Conduct preventive maintenance and report repairs
- Answer questions regarding products to make customers feel welcome and appreciated
- Adhere to laws and company guidelines
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
