Job Duties
- Exceed customer expectations by delivering outstanding service through clear communication and active listening
- greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- follow the cashier script to assist customers through transactions and educate them on loyalty programs, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan
- execute cash management, return, layaway, and exchange policies precisely
- communicate professionally and friendly with associates and customers
- provide product information and answer customer inquiries
- coordinate with loaders to respond promptly to customer requests
- efficiently execute accurate transactions and handle price disputes professionally
- stand in designated area to assist customers when not engaged in transactions
- emphasize the value of Rural King loyalty program and its benefits
- utilize the cashier script to engage customers
- introduce the benefits of Rural King Visa card
- respond to incoming calls with professional phone etiquette
- ensure reconciliation of registers and filing paperwork with 100% accuracy
- ensure proper deactivation of EAS devices or spider wrap products
- maintain awareness to prevent loss and deliver exceptional service
- execute cashier responsibilities including stocking, cleaning, and managing registers
- refill popcorn and coffee stations timely
- keep shopping carts and restrooms clean
- use general office equipment
- participate in cross-training
- actively engage in training programs
- provide friendly and proactive support internally and externally

- perform other duties as assigned
