Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Greet customers with friendliness and assist them actively
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons following company policies
- Monitor and control cash shortages and overages to prevent loss
- Adhere to guidelines regarding restricted sale items such as alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs
- Report pricing discrepancies and operational issues to management promptly
- Maintain knowledge of current, seasonal, and special promotions and ads
- Follow food safety regulations and participate in maintaining a safe and clean store environment
- Identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment needing repair
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and creating a welcoming environment
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws as well as company policies
- Manage conflict calmly and respectfully to resolve customer issues
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity with customer and business information
- Assist diverse customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
