Job Duties
- Greet customers actively and provide exceptional service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on restricted sales such as alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for gift cards, stamps, and coupons
- Comply with food safety regulations and reinforce safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by inspecting equipment and reporting issues
- Provide product information and assist customers with inquiries
- Manage conflict in a cooperative and professional manner
- Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and company guidelines
