- Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to manage conflict in a cooperative and nonconfrontational manner
- Honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
Job Duties
- Greet and assist customers actively and visibly
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, coupons, and pricing discrepancies
- Follow food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Report unsafe conditions and equipment issues to management
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making customers feel welcome
