Job Duties
- Greet customers actively and provide assistance as needed
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the check lane
- Handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to guidelines on cash shortages and overages and work to control loss
- Enforce company policies on restricted sales such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
- Comply with food safety regulations and company safety programs
