Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Process transactions using the Point of Sale system accurately and efficiently
- Handle various payment tender types including cash, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted items, and food safety regulations
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain a clean and safe checkout area and comply with safety procedures
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
