Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow established procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay current with sales ads and promotions
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment
