Job Duties
- Greet engage and assist customers actively and visibly
- Process customer transactions quickly accurately and efficiently
- Handle various tenders such as cash checks credit debit SNAP EBT and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to company limits on cash shortages and overages and work to control loss
- Enforce guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for stamps gift cards and coupons
- Stay current with promotions and ads and comply with all food safety regulations
- Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly
- Inspect equipment and report repair needs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions
- Adhere to local state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable nonconfrontational manner
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues
- Provide support to minors individuals with special needs and older adults
