Job Duties
- Greet customers actively and provide assistance at checkout lanes
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, coupons and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and safety programs
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and ensuring satisfaction
