Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of cashier experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to operate point of sale systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year cashier experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle point of sale transactions accurately

Job Duties

  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service
  • Process checkout and return transactions
  • Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • Proactively seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
  • Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • Position and support cashiers by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions and markdowns
  • Provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • Assist in supervising, coaching, and training front end associates
  • Participate in the training of new cashiers
  • Utilize available tools to coach and develop cashiers
