Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- understand and operate the Point of Sale system handling various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
- adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales, and pricing discrepancies
- follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- stay informed on promotions and ads
- comply with food safety regulations
- identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment issues
- create a welcoming environment for customers
- adhere to all applicable laws and company guidelines
- manage conflict and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
