Job Duties

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
  • process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • understand and operate the Point of Sale system handling various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sales, and pricing discrepancies
  • follow procedures for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • stay informed on promotions and ads
  • comply with food safety regulations
  • identify and report unsafe conditions and equipment issues
  • create a welcoming environment for customers
  • adhere to all applicable laws and company guidelines
  • manage conflict and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
  • act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
  • perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
