Job Duties
- Greeting customers actively and providing assistance
- Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Handling various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and rain checks
- Adhering to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted sales, coupons, and pricing discrepancies
- Complying with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Reporting unsafe conditions and equipment maintenance needs
- Creating a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing support
- Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and managing conflict reasonably
- Following all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
