Job Duties

  • Greeting customers actively and providing assistance
  • Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
  • Handling various payment tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and rain checks
  • Adhering to company policies regarding cash shortages, restricted sales, coupons, and pricing discrepancies
  • Complying with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • Reporting unsafe conditions and equipment maintenance needs
  • Creating a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and providing support
  • Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and managing conflict reasonably
  • Following all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
