Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively in the store
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons following company policies
- Adhere to company policies regarding cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies to management promptly
- Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions and ads
- Comply with all food safety regulations and company safety procedures
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, accidents, or maintenance needs to management
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and store policies
- Work cooperatively in fast-paced environments and manage conflicts respectfully
- Maintain honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
- Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
