Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of cashier experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of cashier experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Leadership and coaching abilities
- Ability to handle customer escalations effectively
- Knowledge of point of sale systems
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to train and develop team members
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service
- Process checkout and/or return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- Seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- Minimize shrink by following all policies and procedures
- Position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks and approving point of sale transactions and markdowns
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervising, coaching, and training other front end associates
- Participate in training new cashiers and use available tools to coach and develop cashiers
