- proficiency in operating point of sale systems
- strong customer focus and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
- reliability and integrity in handling cash and following procedures

Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- seek product and project knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities
- expedite price checks and approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of front end associates
- participate in the training of new cashiers and use coaching tools to develop other cashiers
