Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift up to 15 lbs for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes
  • Able to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours per day
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Balance the register at the end of shifts
  • Provide menu expertise and guide customer selections
  • Work efficiently and warmly with customers
  • Collaborate with team members to exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized register area
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
