Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15 lbs for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes
- Able to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and lift overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cash handling experience an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Balance the register at the end of shifts
- Provide menu expertise and guide customer selections
- Work efficiently and warmly with customers
- Collaborate with team members to exceed guest expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized register area
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
