Job Duties

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
  • establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return
  • demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
  • greet, engage, and assist customers actively
  • process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently through the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • handle various tenders such as cash, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
  • adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and checkout procedures
  • report pricing discrepancies
  • follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • stay current with seasonal and special ads
  • comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
  • identify and report unsafe conditions or accidents
  • inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed
  • provide product information and answer customer questions
  • work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
  • manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively

  • provide assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
