Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of cashier experience
- basic computer skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to communicate effectively
- attention to detail
- problem solving skills
Job Qualifications
- minimum one year of cashier experience
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- knowledge of point of sale systems

Job Duties
- provide fast and friendly customer service at checkout
- process checkout and return transactions accurately
- monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position and support cashiers during busy periods
- expedite price checks and approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- handle first level escalation of customer issues
- assist in supervision coaching and training of front end associates
- participate in training new cashiers and coach other cashiers
